The by far most effective way is to do a gel peel of the whole bottom to remove the outer layer of gel coat and bottom paint, remove the additional problem area’s by hand grinding, monitor the moisture content in the fiberglass and allow it to dry to the proper level. Begin filling and fairing the effected area’s on the bottom ,fair the hull, epoxy barrier coat to specifications and apply the bottom paint to customers requirements.When properly done this process will last for many many years to come.”
